A radiologist specializing in mammography and neuroradiology, Caroline Reich is a graduate of the Emory University School of Medicine — where she received her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees pursuing research in the neurosciences. She completed her radiology residency training at Emory Hospital and a neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Reich has been in practice in Birmingham since 1999, focusing primarily on neuroradiology and mammography — with an exclusive focus on Women’s Imaging since 2014. She is an active member of the Society of Breast Imaging,
the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society and the American College of Radiology.
From 2003 to 2005, Dr. Reich served on the faculty of the Radiology Department of the UAB School of Medicine. She is the President and founder of Women’s Imaging Associates. Since 2009, her practice has interpreted over 200,000 mammograms for OB-GYN offices, multi-specialty clinics and rural hospitals across the country.
